"Ex Libris Tarot" is a compendium of information coming from several sources. I was learning tarot and used several different books (and a web site) every time I would complete a card reading for myself; I would often have 5 or 6 books and a couple of web sites that I would refer to. I took notes and placed them in a pre-bound journal that came with a stamp on the cover - "Ex Libris".
When other people saw what I had done, they said that I should share it with people interested in learning tarot.
The book has a very simple, reference-life format using color-coded borders (red = fire = wands; green = earth = coins, etc.) You will also find information on each card meaning, associations with other cards in a reading, and astrological influences which relate to interaction with people in the questioner's life.
I will be working on follow-up pieces including the "Personalities of the Tarot" which expand upon the relationship of astrology within the cards. I am also working on a learning deck that can be used for readings or as flash cards to make learning the tarot even easier.

Why not? When people first started pushing me to get the book out to the public, I wanted to publish it and make money off of it. At the same time, I really didn't feel right turning it over to a publisher to cut and snip at an editor's will. This is my work that I put together to help ME learn tarot; therefore, I felt that the integrity of the book would be compromised. I didn't have the money to self-publish, and after a deep meditation on the subject in March, 2008, I decided that knowledge should be easy to come by; therefore, it hit me that I should release the book in the cheapest, easiest format possible - electronically through the internet. In this way, many people can afford to learn the tarot and learn to touch the inner voice that most of us ignore.
I would ask that, if you get something out of the book, if you think it's worthy, please make a small donation. Even a dollar helps pay for the website maintenance, etc. Money or not, I really hope that everybody who downloads the book can learn something from it!
