Everything in my first basketI just wanted to let you know about this. I’ve been looking into produce and micro-farming co-ops for a while. I decided to go with Bountiful Baskets, and purchased my first one in June. You basically go to the website, pay by credit card (usually no later than Wednesday night), and then pick up your produce on Saturday morning. The cost is $15 per basket + $1.50 handling fee. The first time you purchase, there is a $3.00 fee. Every time thereafter, it’s only $16.50 total. The watermelon, pineapple, grapes and blueberries alone covered the cost of the basket. It was almost like everything else was free!

Heaven on Earth

Merriam-Webster defines heaven as the dwelling place of the Deity and the blessed dead; a spiritual state of everlasting communion with God. Why are the living not privy to this blessedness? Why can’t our gods live among us? If we have a relationship here on earth with our god(s), why must we die for it to be cemented?
